Hello,

I have a 1999 Honda Accord coupe which seems to be missing a part in the engine compartment. The location is behind the engine almost center, between engine and firewall. First thought I got from a previous post was the speed sensor, but found that not to be it.. it is a hole with pretty much on top transmission??? Pictures below if anyone has any help, much appreciated. Cars drives fine, but is throwing 3 codes...0170, 0171, and 1456 I believe.

Location is straight down where the red arrow is.

Just bought car, looks like something is missing here behind the engine. Looks like there are springs inside. Please help if you know what is missing. Thank you

 

Looks like one of your speed sensors on the transmission.
