Default 1999 Honda Accord Automatic Transmission jerk/shift

Hi, I own Rover 623sli 1999 model. It's Honda Accord engine inside. The Automatic transmission started to jerk/shift so I got the Auto transmission serviced. The service guy used "G3SYN" ATF. The problem reduced a bit but is not eliminated. Is this ATF good? or do I need honda ATF Z1.

I cannot replace ATF again with Z1 now as already spent good money on AT servicing..

Any suggestions? I read that one can add additives like Lubegard black/platinum. Is it ok to add this additive on top of G3SYN? please advise

Thanks

Welcome new member! Where are you, England?

I've never heard of G3SYN fluid, so maybe it's a UK product?? There's a couple UK folks on here, so I hope someone chimes in.

Thanks!
I'm in New Zealand. The fluid is "Elfmatic G3 synthetic".

OK, I recognize Elf as a major petroleum company. Still, I don't know anything about that fluid, or it's compatibility with Honda fluid. My first thought is not to mix them, without doing a complete changeover.
