1999 honda accord issue-speakers

the rear speakers on my car have not worked since i got it a year ago. i find it strange that both do not work i would think one but two seems a bit off. should i just repalce the speakers or what??

I would check to see if the speakers are plugged in, and inspect as much of the wiring as possible.
