Default 1999 Honda Accord P1456

Code is P1456. I just installed a new gas cap. However, I am still getting this nasty gas smell underneath the car when parked. 2 way bypass valve and the canister were both replaced. Also, the 2 way valve cover was replaced. My mechanic has it narrowed down to the open vacuum port on the "Y" shaped line. Two of the lines on the "Y" shaped plastic port have a place to go. However, the third line looks as if it just sits in the 2 way valve cover, and has no destination. If anyone knows where this line plugs into, or if it is capped off, please let me know. Leaving the line open caused my car to chug and stall, so therefore it must have a place to go to. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

It is early for me, so I'm slow.

Do you have a pic of what you are dealing with....I've tried to look at the manual and compare it to your description and I'm getting confused? There are a lot of lines under there.

So in this picture its part number 11. there is that extra port with no where to go and it plugs into the black 2 way valve cover which is part number 28. Where does that second curved line go?

That Y shaped part number 11. I need to know where that last line goes that sticks out and curves into the vapor 2 way valve cover. I have it plugged off right now to keep the car from stalling

It looks like it should be left unplugged. See attached pic.

Are you sure? The only reason I ask is I stalled only to find that my canister was bad and this line was open. Do you think a canister should be able to stall the car?

I see it now......page 11-23 of the service manual is where the pic is from.
