Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me fix the door lock on my Accord. About 50% of the time when the doors are locked or unlocked via the drivers door lock switch or the key fob, the passenger side door lock button won't go up (if unlocking) or down (if locking). When this happens the only way to raise or lower the button is either manually from inside the vehicle or by turning the key in the passenger door. I also just noticed that when I locked the car with the key fob, the car chirped indicating the doors locked, but the passenger button was still up. From outside the vehicle I tried pulling on the passenger door handle to see if it was really locked, and when I pulled the handle the button slid down into the lock position. The funny thing is the door seems to lock even though the button stays up, but when the button is down it will never unlock until the button is lifted manually or with the key.

Can anyone help me diagnose and fix the problem? thanks in advance....
