Default 2000 Honda Accord Coupe

Hello Everyone my name is Corey.

I recently purchased a 2000 Honda accord coupe 4cyl v-tec and I want to put a nice sounding muffler on it.
I want the deep sound not the high pitched raspy sound. Everyone i have asked has told me to change my resonator and put an N1 on my honda. I do not want to spend a ton of money on it but im willing to spend around 200-300$.
Would just simply putting an axle back 4 inch diameter muffler make my Accord loud and deep sounding or is there more to it?

Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any input.

You could just buy an after market muffler, take it to the exhaust shop and have them put it in and weld two hangers for you, or buy a catback system from ebay put it in yourself, either way it will definitely sounds louder than factory one.

I'm not sure, mine's kindda raspy but maybe because i have header, test pipe instead of cat, no resonator and full catback.
