2000 Honda Accord Slipping
 
hey guys just recently bought an automatic 2000 honda accord coupe lx v6 3.0..... it starting breaking down two days ago :( like it seems to slip once it gets into 2nd gear. but then it drives normally. took it to the mechanic everythings okay :/... no lights come on everything is okay. just the power steering pump is leaking but i got it replaced. my first car :( and it seems like when the car slips it wants to power off. any help?:( thanks

It sounds as if you may have bad shift solenoids

Even if one mechanic says it ok, get multiple opinions..

Go-Part gave you good advice..just like at the doctors, get a 2nd opinion.
The mechanic you had said everything was allright and of course it's not allright. See what he and I mean...2nd that opinion.

Sounds like the transmission is on its way out the door. Pretty common with the 98-02 v6s.
