2000 Honda Accord Slipping

Unhappy 2000 Honda Accord Slipping

hey guys just recently bought an automatic 2000 honda accord coupe lx v6 3.0..... it starting breaking down two days ago like it seems to slip once it gets into 2nd gear. but then it drives normally. took it to the mechanic everythings okay :/... no lights come on everything is okay. just the power steering pump is leaking but i got it replaced. my first car and it seems like when the car slips it wants to power off. any help? thanks

It sounds as if you may have bad shift solenoids

Even if one mechanic says it ok, get multiple opinions..

Go-Part gave you good advice..just like at the doctors, get a 2nd opinion.
The mechanic you had said everything was allright and of course it's not allright. See what he and I mean...2nd that opinion.

Sounds like the transmission is on its way out the door. Pretty common with the 98-02 v6s.
