Recently my keyless entry was acting as if the battery was going dead in the remote transmitter so I put in a new battery. Seemed to work fine but several days later it won't work at all. Is there any way to test the transmitter? The red LED is lighting up on the transmitter when I press a button. Any simple diagnostic check to verfiy the receiver portion is working?

Yea at my job(Advance Auto) we have a keyless remote tester.. Ask for assistance and someone will show you how to test it.
