Smile 2002 2.3 Type V Accord, Major hesitation lower revs

My Accord has a major kangaroo style hesitation when driving at lower revs, revs the nuts off it & it goes fine, but sat in a 30MPH limit for example it's almost like I'm stamping on & off the throttle. I've tried fuel cleaner as had only done 2k in past year before I brought it & new plugs, even new Dizzy cap & rotor as they were in a bad way. I had 2 spare ignition leads so fitted & swapped them around but still the same & it's not a misfire in my book.

I work 89 miles from home & have hammered it up & down motorway running on BP fuel, so not cheap supermarket stuff that's cause me issues with old cars I've had, so would expect it to be cleared out by now, it's certainly been bounced off the rev limiter more than ever in the past few weeks & goes well driven hard with zero hesitation till I slow.

A freind suggested the coil pack, I wondered about injectors etc? but before spending out on bits to throw at it, I'd like some advise if anyone can help me? I also put it on a diagnostic as my other mates a Patrol man with a certain break down company, but no faults were present.

I'd appreciate any help I can get or like to hear if someone else has had the same?

Accord 2.3 Type V, 94k & history.

Thanks people!!

make sure you have no VAC leaks. Trace all your vac hoses. Start with the free stuff 1st. Also how does your trans fluid look? Your gen accord had major trans issues.

Does this only "seem" to happen once the car is warm or up to normal op temp?
