2003 accord air filter removal
Can anyone tells me how to remove the air filter on the 2003 accord 4 cyl.? I took off the four screw and the cover still being block by theleft fender and the fuse box right next to it. Is there something more i need to remove? I never thought it would be so difficult. I appreciate if someone tells me how is it done. Thank You.

Same problem with mine, & its very annoying.
Wrestle with the big rubber air duct going to throttlebody, need to flex it a bunch. Maybe easier toremove that duct.

Thanks for repling. But that biground duct has other parts attached to it. I am not sure should i remove them. I am afraid if i wrestle with it i might damage something else. My other 2000 accord is a breeze to change the filter. Why they make it so difficult for the normal maintence work .

I just replaced my filter on my 03. I had the same questions you do. It is just a royal pain. I asked the dealer and they just muscle the duct so they can lift the lid off the air filter housing. They leave all the other connections on too. Poor filter placement if you ask me. Just pay attention to what your doing, that duct is rugged so you wont break it and the rest of the lines have flexible portions on them so you should be fine their as well.
Good Luck!
