I am am working on a 2003 Accord ex 2.4 automatic that I am trying to replace the axle shaft seal on the passanger side at the transmission. But Last night when I tried to call parts stores all I was getting is it 5spd automatic or other. I looked on ebay and accords that say 5spd show picture of shifter and the same as what I got. So I am lost please help.

So to me it is only a 4 speed but all the parts stores are saying can't get seal for the 4 spd.

 

"Axle Shaft Seal" should be part from Rockauto.

I was unable to ID from Honda parts menu. Suggest going to local Honda Auto parts and asking for part. They will be able to source OEM part.

Not sure how many forward speeds. Honda parts calls out 5AT in parts lookup.

The 03 does have a 5 speed automatic transmission. They just didn't put a selection for 4th gear on the shift lever.
