Does anyone know the fix for this problem. We have the TCS light while driving after we turn off the car it goes away but then comes back. The code that comes up from the techs scanner is 6801 Brake Switch Malfunction. He said he would have to do a full scan to detail the problem. Thats a $100 just to troubleshoot it. We dont have the money. Any help is appricated.

I have a 2003 Accord LX V6, and encountered similar problems recently. Brake light stays on, and then 10 seconds later, TCS and <!> lights come on. My mechanic flushed the brake fluid, and changed brake pedal switch ($9), but problem still remain. I'm having the master cylinder changed first ($500-ish). It may also be a bad ABS module ($1,200), but I won't know until MC is changed. Would love to hear how you address your issue.

There's no such trouble code as 6801, probably 68-1. You should get code(s) and posted them. You may have one or more code or even a different one. It would be better to get a knowledgeable Honda tech to do a proper diagnostic first instead of replacing parts at this point. You could spend $500 for the master cylinder and still not fix the issue.
