well my car was taking long to start up, and idling rough...and then would just shut down.....like after a 5 or 6 tries then it would start and it wasnt allowing me to go over 30 mph.....what i learnt was that the cam sensor controls when the injectors fire...also...has something to do with timing...well after changing mines...it starts up quite fine....

The CMP sensor is located behind the front camshaft pulley. To access or replace the sensor normally requires removal of the timing belt and front camshaft pulley.
The connector to the CMP sensor is visible without removal of the aforementioned items, and shown in this image. The connector and wiring should be checked, tests done, etc. before replacement of the sensor.
