2004 Accord p1009 and p0341 code

Default 2004 Accord p1009 and p0341 code

Hello i have an 04 accord i just bought and the check engine light comes on and off i took it to autozone when the engine light was on and it gave p1009 and p0341 but the car is running almost perfect.i took it to midas to get an oil change and they said i have an oil leak.can someone help me please i need to get car inslected 10 days

I moved your post to a new thread.

You are not going to like my answer bu +90% of the time the p0341 is due to the timing chain has stretched. The only way to fix this is to replace the chain and any worn guides.

Most of the time the chain will stretch because of low oil levels. So when having the chain replaced have them find and fix the oil leak. Then get into a habit of checking the oil level often
