Hi, I am having a weird problem with my 2004 Accord v6 automatic. The problem I am having is that recently, whenever I have to go anywhere more then 30 miles, all of my transmission fluids would spill out of somewhere around the driver side half of the car. The first time this happened I had the car towed back to the dealer and they replaced the transmission. A week later it happened again and the dealer said that they don't know what the problem is. I have taken it to a few shop to have it looked at but they can't find anything wrong.

There are no leaks or any problem with the transmission. If I drive for less than 30 miles nothing happens and everything is ok. But so far this has happened 5 times now and each time is when I travel more than 30 miles. And each time that it happens, almost all of the transmission fluid has leaked out and the underside of the driver side would be soaked in transmission fluid.

If anyone has this problem or know what the problem is, please let me know cause I'm at a total loss here. thx

 

It must be a huge problem if the Honda Dealer can't figure out the problem...sry about that man

 

That sounds very strange. I would steam clean the whole engine compartment, transmission & under carriage and "make" it do it again. Stop as soon as it happens and trace the leak back.
It is very weird that the dealership can't trace it or duplicate the problem.

since the tranny was replaced i'd think the problem is outside of the transmission - like a cooler line, overfilled transmission.... bring it to another dealer.
