I'm currently in NC, near Raleigh. I lived in Memphis for a bit of time ('73 till '98).

I have a couple of questions. I want to built my accord and I was wondering if I should build a motor on the side and put it in when I'm done or should I just put rods pistons and new bearings in the motor without taking it out and just hone the cylinder walls?

Kind of hard to call. It will depend on budget and time.

Down time will be reduced by getting another engine and building it over time but that means you have the initial expense of the "other engine". Now in the end if you sell the old engine after the swap you will get some/most of that initial investment back?

And I suggest a ton of reading/research before doing anything - you have to know what you want before you begin.

good point. i think i will end up getting a "new" motor and build that one cause i love driving the accord and i would miss driving it definatly.
