2004 V6 Accord fog light wiring - HELP!!!
Guys,
I'm helping my son with install a fog light kit on his 2004 V6 Auto Accord (Sedan). Got the lights in no problem and most of the wiring with the e-bay harness kit he bought.
Two issues that I can use some help on. First the Honda instructions say that there should be a 3 pin connector under the relay box was is attached to the vehicle harness with blue tape. I can't find it. Can it be somewhere else???? I see the blue tape but no connector. This is driving me nuts. I has to be there. Could it be covered by black tape completely????
Second, there are three wires on the harness that must connect into the relay box 14 pin connector (2 wires) and the 20 pin connector (1 wire). The problem is the three wires on the harness are not the same colors in the instuctions. The harness wires are white, red and yellow. Does anyone know which wire should go were???

Be aware that many aftermarket fog light harnesses do not install the same as the OEM harness. But, if the ebay harness kit is the OEM replica kit, which it sounds like, then those are the corresponding wires.

Redbull, installed the OEM harness and the lights work but they come on with the high beans and not the lows. They go off when the Highs are switched off. Must be a crossed connection somewhere. Any ideas? They should go on with the lows and off with the highs. We tried switching the two wires on the 14 pin connnector but nothing changeds. Not sure where it could be.
Double-check the white/green wire and red/green wire are in the correct terminal slots of the 14-pin connector (actually count the number of slots). Then check that the brown fog light connector is connected to the black relay and the blue connector to the gray relay.
Is it possible to take some pictures of the connections and posted it so that there are extra eyes looking at it? Also, sometimes you can miss something until you step away, relax a bit and come back to it.

After looking at the headlight wiring diagram for your car, the problem might be the blu/red wire that is suppose to be installed into the 20-pin connector. Check your installation there.
If I'm reading it correctly the blu/red wire from the fog light harness is added into the circuit which runs from the combination light switch blu/red wire through the Multiplex Control Unit (only certain models for DRL) then to the headlight relay and so on . . .
