2005 2.4l accord coupe

Default 2005 2.4l accord coupe

new member looking to buy an accord, theres one with 68k miles 4 cylinder already made the mistake and accidnetly bought an 03 v6 with out researching it and after i bought it i saw the trans reviews and kinda noticed a tug with every gear shift so i sold it off before anymore damage, but i fell in love with the body and interior of the car so im looking to get another i was wondering if the 2.4's are worth it and do the trans' hold up? thanks for all the help sorry if this is in the wrong place im new

General Tech is probably a better place for this, so I'll move it.

Automatic trans? Honda manual transmissions are pretty bulletproof, so that's the way to go!

it's all about the maintenance on the auto trans, i've got an 03 4 cyl auto with 180k and the trans is still running strong. everytime i drain and refill it, the fluid is nice and clean.

Good information . keep any car maintained and they will run maybe for ever.

i wish it was manual they are damn near impossible to find(with leather but begger cant be choosers) in chicago with out a dealer , yea when i bought the 03 v6 i didnt look at the fluid first like an idiot and when i changed it, it was pathetic how bad and pitch blach it was, so ill take a look at this car fluid when i take a look
