Default 2005 Accord 3.0 5 speed auto trans question

Getting ready to service the trans. 236000 miles so too high mileage to do a flush using the cooling lines. Going to drain and fill every few hundred miles until it's thorughly changed out. My question is (and I think I know the answer but wanted to make sure) these aren't CVT transmissions so there's no reason not to use some Lucas additive when I change the fluid, right? Going to go to synthetic and use Lucas toward te end when I've gotten the majority of the old fluid changed over. Other than your personal preference (I happene to really like Lucas products) is there a reason not to use it in this scenario?

Sounds like a good plan as long as the trans fluid is OEM or aftermarket equivalent for Honda transmissions.
