Default 2006 Accord 2.4 i-VTEC will not blow heat

My Accord stopped blowing hot air the other evening when it was colder that -20 degrees. The car was running most the evening while I was delivering. It will only blow slightly warm air now. It will get warmer and not frost up if I put it on recycled air and defrost setting. What can I do. I need heat here in Minnesota soon?!?

The common diy thread on top of this forum has a link on how to test the HVAC system under the 03-07 accords. Run the diagnostic and post your results.

I am sorry PAhonda, but I do not understand what "The common diy thread on top of this forum" really means. I am not sure where you are telling me to find the link...

Okay PAhonda, I am slow I guess, but I finally found the link to the test you were talking about and I ran the diagnostic test. After the test was complete there were no blinks from either the recirculation indicator or the A/C indicator

How's your coolant? Is the level topped up and has it been maintained by replacing it every couple years? Poorly maintained coolant could possibly cause the heater core to clog.

Has the coolant been replaced recently and there is air in the cooling system?

Coolant has been changed withing the past 2 years. It is not dirty looking at all. Coolant level is fine as well.

I would check the heater control valve and the cable to it.

Next would be the air mix control motor.
