2006 Accord, Unexpected Acceleration

Hi, maybe someone has experienced this. There are times when I am stopped, the car seems to accelerate with the rpms increasing by more than 2K. This is dangerous. I have contacted the Honda dealers, but they weren't able to reproduce the problem. Anyone experience something similiar? My co-worker has the same issue but so far, it's just the two of us. Let me know!

Does your car have VSA?
My car does that somethines but it does not surge up to 2K it's like the compressor for the A/C is disengaging and the car wants to surge forward. I just keep my foot firmly on the brake.......

and YEU buddy,, i do not think that it is a normal a/c ( on/ off) issue 2k is way way too much for the rpm to go up
if you are not careful and foot is not planted firmly on the brakes it could cause an accident ...
did dealer chk anything ?? throttle cable sticking ?? or just could not duplicate it and let it go
nah, I was not suggesting that it was normal....I was just wanting to know if the car had VSA becuase a lot of acura (type S cars in particular) owners report having problems with the car lurching forward if their foot is not on the brake firmly...
DH, I thoguht the 03+ V6 accords are drive by wire? (no throttle cable)

i've experienced this "lurching forward" movement from my brand new 06 coupe lx. i just brushed it off however as it doesn't happen all the time, and the times it did... it was raining. i thought it might've just been wet brakes?
i will report if this starts happening again with a more accurate description of the issue.

Below is a TSB that applies to 03-05 Accord's. Does it describe or answer the problems you've experienced?
