Default 2006 Honda Accord

Why does my 2006 Honda Accord start then die when I fill up the gas tank?

Thank you

You could have a bunch of debris or water that gets churned up when you fill up the tank and it is clogging the fuel pump filter or sending more water than fuel to the engine.

You may want to add a methanol-based fuel stabilizer before your next fill up. It should help dissolve the water throughout the gas tank. If not, you can pull out the fuel pump and look for debris in the bottom of the tank when your tank gets low.
