Default 2006 Honda Accord Cpe Leather..

I just purchased a 2006 Honda Accord Cpe. EX-L with Navi .. It's a beautiful car but I'm not sure how to keep up with the leather. It's in good condition right now but I don't want it to get warped or cracked .. I'm not sure if this was the right topic area to go into but if anyone can help?

that leather isn't very great to begin with. sure it's good, but not great. the best bet would be to go to a fabric shop and ask about treatment opinions for your 'leather jacket'. [8D]

Hi,

Firstly, vacuum the seats often to keep dust/abrasive material from accumulating in the creases/stiched areas.

In so far as cleaning/conditioning the leather this is what I do:

1. Clean the seats with wet towel or a leather cleaner like Lexol's
2. Apply Lexol leather lotion (per instructions)
3. A day or so later apply Aerospace 303 to the seats (this is also great for your dash/steering wheel /door panels and other plastic/rubber/leather parts).

I repeat the above three steps ~ every 6 months.

Also, I put upfront windshield visor when I park in the sun.
