2007 Accord Overhead Dome/Door Lights
When either the driver's door or front-passenger's door of my 2007 Accord open, the overhead lights do not turn on.
The lights turn on if you press them individually, so it didn't appear to be the 7.5A fuse. I checked, and that fuse is fine.
I can't recall if the lights quit going on for each door at the same time, but I suspect that is the case.
So, my best guess is its the door switch on the overhead dome assembly.
Does this sound legit to anyone? Any experience replacing just the switch, or will I have to swap the entire unit? Video tutorial?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If the rear dome/ceiling light works when the front doors open, then the ground sources coming from the respective driver's door or front passenger door switches are properly going through the Multiplex Integrated Control Unit (MICU), which will also go to the map lights.
Then the issue may be the micro-switches at the map light base unit, unless the base unit has corrosion, issues..
The map lights have dual functionality; (1) turns on if pressed, and (2) works if door opened. Because the map lights have "dual functionality" there are two separate ground sources involved in the circuit. (1) When the map light is pressed on, the light switches gets their ground source from the base of the unit. (2) If a door is opened, the light switches gets their ground source through wiring coming from the Multiplex Integrated Control Unit (MICU). – All the individual doors switches (at each door) are wired into the MICU (located in the under-dash fuse box).
The micro-switch has three small receptacles which interface with three metal terminal blades. One of the three metal terminal blades is not making sufficient contact inside the switch for the maplight bulb (probably the blade for the ground source coming from the MICU).
You can examine the switches and base unit.
Mouser Electronics sells the ALPS switch (ALPS part number SPED210200) for $.86 each, plus shipping.
See this link regarding replacement from a Honda Pilot forum, which is similar.

Only via subscription or if you buy the hardcopy. They are mainly circuit diagrams without much narrative; so, you have to know how to read circuit diagrams.
