I bought this Accord EXL 4 door new in 2010 Car has been fantastic, fast, fun to drive and great handling The Accord has 99K and has developed a problem associated with a cold start I live in the Northeast and my car has been garaged since new The problem is a loud noise at cold start The car actually sounds like a diesel but as the car warms up the diesel noise goes away This loud noise at cold start does not occur 100% of the time, but about 50% It almost sounds to me (not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination) like the oil is not getting to the top of the engine I have not had the timing belt replaced yet but will be replaced shortly Does anyone know what this problem would be or if you have experienced it? Any information will be greatly appreciated

 

How about oil level on the dipstick?
