2011 Honda Accord EX-L Seat Memory Control not working
Hey everyone,
My 2011 Honda Accord EX-L (V6; 4-Door) got something fixed on the door a few years back and we just recently noticed that the seat memory control panel does not work and is not lid. Additionally, the car does not seem to recognize the two different keys.
How can I repair it:
- Is the vehicle supposed to show a "Driver 1" or "Driver 2" welcome screen in the dashboard? [my wife's 08 Acura TL does]
- Check the fuse? Under what group can I find it the right one? Whats the amperage on it? I guess there is not a fuse only for the seat memory control, but everything else seems to work fine.
- I was thinking about taking the door apart and checking the connections, maybe they just forgot to plug it back in.
- In case non of the above work, how can I check the power? I guess the electricity flows from the fuse-box to the control panel on the door, what voltage am I supposed to receive at the control panel? Where should I connect the volt meter to measure that?
Additional info: The motors on the seat work fine, while the key is in the ON position the seat moves like desired. Power rear view mirrors work fine too (but do not move, with the driver memory).
Any other and hopefully better ideas or solutions are welcome.
PS: my wife's TL has memory seats and they work great//I know how to use them
