Default 2013 Honda Accord Sport Engine Noise

I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sport, 4 cyl CVT, in January. About 30,000 miles into it already (do a ton of highway driving), and I have recently started hearing an odd engine noise - I would equate it to the sound of a jet engine powering up. You start to hear it at about 20 mph and it continues through high speeds. This is NOT the standard unusual CVT acceleration pattern that I'm referring to - I know that the CVT, at its core, sounds different than a conventional engine. The serviceman acknowledged right away that the sound was unusual.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I'm trying to figure out if this is my fault for all the highway driving, or if this is an engine defect that Honda should claim responsibility for.

Thanks.

So if this is a Honda dealer serviceman, you have it addressed under warranty.

If it wasn't a Honda serviceman, why aren't you taking it to a Honda dealer when you're under warranty?
