I have a new 2014 Honda Accord with a growing rattle under hood. Sounds like it is coming from left side. Have read the posts re: similar noise. Sound is audible at low speed over bumps. Sounds like small marbles in a box bouncing when I hit small bumps. Does this jive with what others are hearing in another post? Couldn't find the earlier thread. Thanks, David W.

 

You should be under warranty. Have you tried Honda service center?

Possibilities are worn CV axle, loose/damaged anti-sway bar link, bad wheel bearing, loose exhaust heat shield, etc.

Suggest trying to reproduce sound by bouncing the LF up/down w/ your weight. If you can reproduce sound, you should be able to trace the source w/ some help.

Fiesta had coolant overflow tank that was not tight. Gently wiggle things under the hood. Slow speed over bumps could be suspension parts. Hate to say it, but the dealer needs to look (listen!) to it.

Let us know what it was.
