2015 Accord Coupe Idle Concern
Hello,
I recently purchased a 2015 Honda accord coupe and I've noticed that when in drive at a stop the car typically idles between 750 and 800 RPM then self adjusts down to 700/750 which typically makes the vehicle shake a bit more than I care for.
Is this normal?
Anyone else experience the same issue? Is there anything that can be done to slightly adjust this at the dealer?
Please help!!

Thank you so much for the reply, very helpful... Dr D,
Not quite sure what reflash for the PCM means thought about the motor mounts also.
So it sounds like it might not be that bad idea to try to get into the dealership, seeing how the car is only a-year-old with under 5000 miles on it ....
Is the reflash for the PCM A relatively simple process ...
Thanks again,
Steve..

Great info Dr.D, you mentioned in your reply to check into a reflash for the PCM can you elaborate a bit on what that means ? And is this something realistic the dealers would be relatively willing to do?
Just don't know if this is something normal or me be being too critical kind of thing?
Really just want to get some input from others if this is more of a normal or something worse going to the dealer for ..

A re-flash is just an update to the computers operating parameters, they are usually only done if a known issue has occurred with "X" amount of vehicles. Then a service bulletin is issued and if a customer has a complaint that is identified and part of the service bulletin, then the appropriate action will be taken.
