Default 3.0 transmission swap

Will the T2W4 transmission bolt up to a 2000 3.0 V6?

Are you talking about a manual LSD trans from a European model. If so those are a little on the pricey side to get and I don't think it will work with the bolt pattern

Wait, are we talking about a 4-cylinder transmission? I don't suppose it is one of those trannies which sits on the "wrong" side of the car. If it is, then ain't no way in hell it's going to fit without spending big money. If you really want a manual tranny to bolt up to a J30, then you need to source one from either a late model CL, a Gen 7 Accord (no LSD), or a 2004-2006 Acura TL.

An engine would have to be purchased with it and a lot of other stuff.

Sorry, I'm a little sleepy today; what is the context of this post?

Yes it's from a H22 red top.

I have it in a sand rail and I was thinking of going to a V6 but I didn't want to have to buy another tranny.

It is my understanding the bolt pattern for the four cylinder engines is completely different than the V6 engines. That said, at least the V6 transmissions have a removable bellhousing; if the bellhousing to transmission interface is common, then you might get it to work. Even still, you're going to need to figure out what pilot bearing, clutch, and flywheel will fit and which starter to use.

The other thing to consider is the rotation of the engine, if I am not mistaken, the H22 and the J30 rotate in opposite directions.

Edit: Confirmed, the H22 spins counterclockwise, the J30 spins clockwise.
