86 LXI getting very low idle when A/C is on?
I have an 86 LXI and it seems to idle fine when the air conditioning is off. However, when I turn the air on, the idle drops very low, and the car really starts to shake, sometimes it even stalls. It doesn't stall, or ever drop far enough to shake the car when the a/c is off. Does anyone know what could be going on?

First thing might be to clean the throttle plate area with some carb cleaner and soft brush [toothbrush]
There is an A/C idle boost solenoid and diaphram that you can check to see if it's working;
