89 accord trouble codes?

Default 89 accord trouble codes?

Some told me that you cannot retrieve trouble codes on the 89 accord if it is carberated? Is this true if not then how do I get them. Thanks

On the 3rd gen's - only the FI models will store codes.

If you open the window to the ecu - you'll notice there is not a led to give you codes.

What issue are you having?

Shutting off at idle but it doesnt do it all the time I did plugs and wires and I am going to do fuel filters today.

Does it just stop or does it seem to stumble a bit and just slowly die out.

Does it start right back up.

Stumbles then dies and starts right back up. When I drives its fine

But the idle is ok when it is in park

Finish the tune up - cap and rotor.

What is the rpm in park when the car is warm?
