In the manual it seems like not starting up right away is normal and needing to push the gas pedal down sometimes is necessary to start up the car. I intermittently have an issue where the car wont start up, well it sounds like it does for a second and dies out, almost starts and dies out. It almost seems like it can't find the idle or or somehow something is flooding the engine. But if I step on the pedal it usually starts right up, but will die if I don't hold done the gas for a few seconds to keep the revs up.
I had recently fixed an engine light problem replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor, I thought the no start thing was related to that but seems like I have a few lingering issues.
