Default 91 accord ex coupe window pin problem

I'm a backyard shadetree mechanic, I have done my fair share of automotive work but am new to working on Hondas. I purchased this little gem a few months ago for my daughter to drive. It had a few minor problems, torn cv boot and one busted coil spring in front. I managed to fix those looking up some previous posts on this site (thanks).

My problem now is that my window pin keeps breaking. So far, I have lubed the plastic track (actually used car wax) where the window pin rides. the pin itself rides freely along the lenght of the track. After the first two pins broke, I pulled the panel off of the door and found the rubber molding in the channel inside the door had fell out. This is the track that runs vertically inside the door and keeps the back edge of the window aligned. I put it back in, replaced the pin and cycled it a few times. looked good. A week later the window pin is broke agin.

The window is held tightly in place on the bottom track. Not sure what to check for at this point.

Any suggestions on what to check?

Thanks a bunch

Not real good with the 4th gen's, never owned one. This "pin", where is it located? If it is part of the regulator then you might be in a position where the window and regulator need to be replaced. Also, you might look into using some silicone grease on the tracks instead of wax.

If you are looking at the dr side door, the pin would be in the upper right hand corner of the window itself (there is a factory hole in the glass). on the inside of the window, the "pin" is L shaped with the L holding the window in a removable track that is attached to the door. Very messed up design IMO. Anyhow, something must be loose or misalgned which causes enough torque on the pin to sheer the bottom of the L off. Looks like the pin is made of white metal. Any chance if someone would know where I could find a diagram of the window assembly for a 91 accord ex coupe? That might go a long way in helping me figure out what might be wrong.

Thanks

close but no weeooo. See the red dot in the jpg I attached. That is a hole in the glass. (I edited the image you posted) I have also attached a picture of the part that goes in the hole.

Thanks for helping out.
