91 Accord Power Steering Fluid Leak out the top of the reservoir???
I drive a 1991 Honda Accord 2 Dr EX. Recently I noticed a spot under my car after I pulled it out the garage. I just thought that it was some oil, since my car leaked a little at times. Yesterday I did an oil change and noticed that around the top of the power steering reservoir was all wet with power steering fluid. I did some further inspections and found that it was running all down the side of the reservoir, inside the engine compartment and down onto my garage floor. Has anyone every heard of this happening? I though power steering parts leaked from hoses, not out the top through the tight fitting cap? I'm clueless on this one? If anyone has any help on this one it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

So, I ended up getting some time to do a little more investigating on my power steering problem. I found that all the hoses were in great shape. What I did find was on the inside of the power steering pulley was wet with fluid. Since that seal is broke is it easy to replace or do I need to just replace the whole pump? If anyone has any help? Thanks!

Probably easier to get a rebuilt or used pump. Check car-part.com for a local salvage yard for used.
