I've got a 92 Accord EX with 180,000 miles on it. I'm having issues with it surging and feeling underpowered when it is first started up and about 5-10 minutes afterward. I'll be driving and the car seems to hesitate and surge and then the CEL will come on and the car seems like a totally different car. No hesitation, surging, almost like it has a turbo and it is kicking in. I pulled the codes and it came up as "43-Fuel Supply". I'm stumped, if anyone could help, I would appreciate it.

 

Usually a code 43 is set by the O2, do you have a manual do go thru the tests?

 

No manual, just the knowledge available on this site.

 

The only manual I have for the 4th gens is in about 50 pieces and hard to read thru.

So with that said I can't give good testing procedures, how much does the O2 cost for this gen? Hate to replace before testing but if it is OE and 180K.........
