I own a 92 accord lx with a manual. Before i used to be able to chirp the tires in second gear but now i am not able to.. What would cause this. Is it just me doing something wrong or is there a problem with the car???

Probably the clutch is shot; I'm guessing you also wind up the RPM in first gear and dump the clutch to hear the tires squeal.
While you are shelling out all the money for new clutches and probably new CV joints you can think about all the people you impressed with your tire noises.
