MY "S" LIGHT IS ON AND FLASHING ALL THE TIME I JUST REPLACED MY TRANS COMPUTER IT STILL DOING THE SAME THING !!!HELP!!!

 

Use this link below, to jumper the Service Connector, then you should get a 'flash' code from the 'S' light .

i just checked the code the s light blinked 9 time what code is that

 

Hmm Code 9; The diagnostic chart says the trans should be shifting but not getting lock up

ok im going to ask a really dumb question. how does the thermostat aid in torque converter lockup?

There is a com line between the Trans control unit and the Engine Control unit;
So the TCU dials up the ECU and asks "whats the temp?"
So if the ECU says "BRRRR it's cold" the TCU says "we ain't up shifting till we get some heat".

ok well i took the center console off inspected the shifter wires no sign of shorting....when i checked for the coded the s light blinked 9 time is there a on blink first then the code flashes

 

and i checked the harness that plug in to tcu no corrosion
