Default 92 EX...256,000 miles. Time to replace the shocks?

Ok, I have a 1992 4-door EX with 256,000 miles. I have replaced most of the other major items on the car (except the engine). It is still running on the OEM shocks/struts. I gave it the bounce-test (push hard on the corner of the car) and it simply sprang back and stopped after once bounce. I've driven this car so long now, that I don't remember what "new" felt like when it comes to the suspension.

So, do you think it's time for new shocks/struts or do Hondas last a lifetime? No leaks or squeaks. Just hurts like heck when I hit a bump. Thanks!

Well if they aren't actually bad, then I'm not sure I would replace them. Its a pretty expensive job to have done.

Sounds like needs new to me, but descriptions are weak.
Have had 2 of these yrs, both cars struts replaced B4 200K.

Could try to pick out a 91-93 in a parking lot and explain your problem to driver.
Ask him to ride around the block to compare - probably reciprocate.
