How did you rule out the TCU?

Well I probably am mistaken, but I think I have multiple issues. Here is why I pulled it........transmission had Orange silicon all over it where it recently was went in, I got under car and grinding was coming from inside transmission, and drain plug was caked full of metal shavings. I wouldn't ever be comfortable with it after finding all the metal, but I don't want to be wasting my time either.

I am pretty sure the 94 AT will bolt on to your engine block.

I don't know what you will have to modify to wire the various sensors and solenoids on the transmission. I am also not sure if the transmission mounts are different. You will probably have to use 94-97 CV joints. I am not sure if you need the TCU from a 94/95 accord.

I think all the 90-93 automatic transmissions are the same. This will be much less of a hassle to do this swap swap, because you everything in your car will be compatible. You can search for transmissions on a site like car-part.com by price or distance to see what junkyards have in your area to see if you can find a low mileage AT from the 4th generation accord. Not all junkyards subscribe to this web site, but you may find a decent deal.

Ok, thanks, I will keep looking for a 90-93, I was lined up on a complete 1990 from a woman I work with for $300, but she is slow cleaning it out, I've been waiting 3 weeks for it.

Finally got the car, , I think it was worth the wait, right now..............
Here is a pic of it, I don't have gas at the fuel filter, just started fooling with it. I have the transmission out of the wagon at a friends house getting it checked out, hope to have both running. Thanks for all the help so far.

Check the white tag with 4 letters on both tranny and see if they're the same ?

I'll check that tomorrow, I sure hope it is the same after buying it..........you talking about the flat place on the transmission with the letters and #'s? I did get the parts car running and drove it down the road today, so I know the transmission is good. If it's the same will probably wait till the first of the week to see what the guy found out tearing into my other transmission.

The tranny should fit anyway, but if the 4 letters on the tag is not the same then you might have to swap the TCU which is pretty easy compare to swapping the trannies.

No need for multiple posts.

Doesn't sound good for the trans. I suggest taking it to a shop and have them give estimates. Then compare that to the cost of a used low mile trans.
