Question 93 Accord Cigarette lighter no power...how to replace

The cigarette lighter adapter in my 93 Accord has gone dead. There is no power at all. I tried to clean the contacts and no help.
I was trying to find out what fuse powers the lighter. Different sites on the net pointed to certain fuses under the dash. Tried every fuse in the car and every one of them is OK.
I understand that there is a relay for the lighter. Could that have gone bad. If so where is it, and any way to test it.
Also i hear that the wire terminal behind the lighter adapter may have come loose. I can't reach it or even see it. Any one out there has any comments on how to replace the present adapter. tried every where on the net and not much help or instruction out there for this simple stuff.
Thanks in advance.

I dont remember exactly but I think I accessed the connector to the cig lighter through the ash tray. I'll check tomorrow afternoon, and get back to you.
