I see online that there is these chips at http://www.performancechipsdirect.com/Honda/Accord-4Dr/ for 50$ and they say that they can increase the hp.. I need Something and im not the worst best mechanic so the easier the better Thank you for anyone who can help me.
don't waste your money on that piece of crap.. up to 50 hp eh ?? what a bunch of bull..
are you asking for a tune-up help ( plugs, air, fuel filter, valve adjust etc, etc ) or for performance increase ???

What can i do for performance. Anything cheap. I was told to cut the bottom of the air box to increase the air flow. But i wanna ask people who know before i go doing stuff i dont know about. And its a racecar thats suppose to be stock so when u open the hood theres nothing taht would be to noticable. Like a cold air intake.. Any suggestions would be great thanks for the responce

I have talked around and i think im going to try to get the head plaind and a valve job. But Im not the worlds best mechanic and i was woundering how long would it take to remove the head from the car. I have never done nothing like this before. I have bought this book that you see at auto parts stores on you car im going to try that. Is there any specail tricks or tools that im going to need. The racecar is over a hour away and a long way from tools. I need to know what to bring..
Thanks for the Help

I would not recommend removing the cylinder head until you have better skills based on what you have posted and stick with bolt ons for now. A tuner would better answer your questions but usually you go for exhaust and air intake improvements to start. Please realize the stock air intake systems also prevents the motor from sucking up water into the cylinders in certain weather conditions.
You said it's supposed to be stock, so I'd read the rules carefully to look for what's allowable. I would guess that just cutting out the bottom of the air box won't help too much, because I think Honda intakes aren't tremendously bad to begin with.
