ok this is a nightmare. I am having a starting problem. I have changed the fuel filter and pump already and it ran for two weeks. Now it wont start again. I have to hold the vaccumm before the throttle body. That worked for two days but now as soon as i release the vaccumm or hit the gas , it dies!
Any help would be awesome, becuz i am about to trash it!

 

What vacuum before the throttle body are you talking about?

 

well i dont know the proper name but it is that large tube i belive that goes to the intake

 

Let me ask some basic questions first.

Have the spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires been changed recently?

Is the check engine light on and have you checked for any codes stored on the ECU? Follow the CEL instructions on this site http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/

When you turn the key to the II position, do you hear the fuel pump turn on for a couple of seconds? It is a faint whirlling sound coming from the trunk.
