Default '94 Accord EX Upper BJ Question(s)

Hi everyone,

3 weekends ago I decided it was high time to do a rotor/brake job. During the brake job I found the uppper and lower bj's to be in quite poor health. In haste I drove to my local Autozone and purchased the Dura-crap brand bj's. Upon installation both my friend and I both said how cheap and crappy the bj's sounded. The lowers had no grease fitting and the uppers did so we added some grease. A few days after installation I started to hear a vibration in the front which is a quick popping noise when taking a left or right hand turn at slow speeds or from a dead stop.

I am in belief that the Dura-crap bj's are junk and want to pull them. I called Autozone and they said bring them back in for a full refund. Next weekend I want to install higher quality bj's. I located Genuine Honda lower bj's but I am having problems locating the uppers. I found Moog brand for the uppers but they only sell the adjustable ones which I don't want. If I purchase the adjustable ones, I will to have the car aligned and I just had it aligned 2 months ago!

I found this Moog brand which is non-adjustable but it says it does not fit my 1994 Accord EX.

Moog Brand New Ball Joint K90458 | eBay

Can anyone enlighten me on a specific part # or part to use for these uppers?

Thanks!

Perfect! I actually found those on Rockauto 5 min after I originally posted. Hoping these fix my popping issue. Anyone have a recommendation on what struts to buy and associated hardware?

Well if you are shopping on rock auto - look at the the different options for "loaded" struts. They come complete and you won't have to mess with compressing the coil spring.
