Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the c-clip/snap ring that goes on the axle where it enters tranny? I cant seem to find it anywhere??

 

I purchased mine at local Honda parts outlet. I know it says to replace C-clip each time you remove the axle. However, last time I wound up re-using when new c-clip seemed to jam when installing. After cleaning/lubing, it still would not go and I substituted old C-clip and re-installed w/o issue. Whatever you do don't try to force the shaft home. If it doesn't want to engage, pull the axle out and try something else.
