Default 95 accord

hey, i got a 95 accord ex auto.and it has 209k miles on it..the timing belt went out and bent some valves..I got the car for $300...do you all think it is worth fixing or should i just swap a brand new engine in it for about $700? thanks

no i found an engine with 40k-50k miles on it for only $700..just thought i may as well do that than spend about 600 on fixing a few valves and the timing belt.

I think that the replacement engine would need to have its TB changed to play it safe.

The engine should be compression tested or leakdown tested to verify the condition of the engine.

You will have to weigh out the difference in cost to rebuild or replace the engine.
