95 accord ex transmission code 14
My 95 accord ex has been running very rough at idle and will... shutter (rpm's jump but no pick up) when accelerating. When I jump the OBDI below the glove box, I don't get any ECU trouble codes (check engine light does not blink, just stays lit up) but I do get a TCU trouble code 14.
I have been told code 14 is a short or open in the FAS wire. I have also been told that it's probably a bad TCU. I pulled the TCU and looked at the circuit board for any corrosion or burnt areas and have not found any.
Does anybody have any idea what else I might want to look at? The speed sensor? I notice that the tach shows 5 mph faster than my GPS does at about any given speed.
Also, before the problem occurred, the rpm's would jump about 100 when lightly accelerating. A quick jump then pick up speed.
Any help is appreciated.

A couple points to answer your private message to me...
When you jumper the SCS connector AND there's no stored codes in the ECU, the CEL should light up solid (not flashing). So that's not a sign of a bad ECU.
A bad ECU is supposed to show a CEL during operation, THEN it won't blink when you jumper the connector. Or it will not light up when you jumper the connector.
I'm not much of an expert on auto-trans, so that's why I didn't answer this one at first. Hope someone chimes in. My list of error codes doesn't have code 14 for the transmission. Code 14 in the check-engine-light would have been IACV or idle control system.
