Default 95 Accord fix passenger side wiper?

I would like to know how to fix my passenger side windshield wiper on my 95 accord LX. My left one works but my right one recently stopped working. It twitches but doesn't go up. I'm wondering if someone can give me the step-by-step instructions on how to fix this.
Thanks!

You may be able to tighten the nut that holds the arm in place.

You may want to remove the wiper and clean the steel shaft as it is serrated and the notches are probably filled with shaving from the aluminum wiper arm. If this is the cast tightening will not help. Just line the wiper up about where the other side is when you put it back on.

I'm having the same issue, with the car in my signature. The passenger side wiper doesn't want to move (while the driver side continues to function good). For a while, it worked occasionally, sometimes wiping out of sequence so that it got tangled with the other, then it stopped altogether. I was told at Autozone to replace the wiper arm, which I did, and tightened the cap, but it only twitches, like it wants to lift but can't; yet if I manually lift one or both wipers, they move. Was also told I may need to do an adjustment... which entails what?

Try what Chris says. Remove the wiper & clean out the splines/serrations on the shaft.

Cool Wiper blade twitching

To Sasoriza,
I fixed my problem easily and maybe you could try it. I pushed down on the right wiper arm (the one not working) and tightened the bolt at the very base of the blade (by your hood). And my problem was fixed. The bolt had just come loose. I hope this helps.

I'll have to see if that will work. I've noticed that, with the wiper arm removed, the spindle on which it sits rotates just fine, but once the arm is snapped back on, it only lifts an inch or so. I'm not sure how to tighten it without stripping the grooved serrations on the spindle. I did clean it as Jim suggested, but that didn't seem to have any effect.

Could it be that maybe that spindle/arm is not getting enough power? My battery needs to be replaced, and so do some fuses I think (as the needles on the dash aren't working properly either). Doesn't make sense to me that one arm would cycle & not the other, but I can't think of anything else.

There isn't 2 separate motors for the wiper blades. It's just levers & linkages. The spindle has to be slipping inside the hole of the wiper arm.

So do you have a suggestion for reinforcing it? Don't tell me I have to replace the spindle...
