Default 95 accord passenger side window.

So last night during a snowstorm the passenger side window of my car got stuck halfway down when I lowered it to talk to someone.

when I flick the switch there is no sound for the motor at all.

That window had been broken into by someone jamming a crowbar between the window and the door, prying it open. There has been a gap between the window and the door for about 9 years where water can get in. It always runs a little slower than the drivers side and I have been spraying silicone spray lube down the crack whenever it gets real bad.

So I am suspecting a burned out motor, or an electrical short. But I am leaning toward the motor since it was struggling to go down and then died.

How hard is it to do a motor replacement? Looked thru the manual and it did not look to bad to get apart. There was one special tool for trim removal. It looked like a bent flat head with a U notched in the tip. Will a screw driver work or will I bust the clips or do other damage? Not that that is a huge deal, the old battle ax is up around 400K, so has alot of character already!

Is there an easy way to just get the window up for now? Trouble shooting tips?

It's not a difficult job. You replace the entire window regulator (mechanical drive linkage and motor). Replacement units are available as aftermarket new parts and used parts are also available. Check ebay and car-part.com or your favorite parts supplier.

good luck
